Capital Development Authority (CDA) replaced street lights with LED lights.
According to a statement released on Sunday, Conventional lights have been replaced with the modern high definition LED streetlights in Islamabad by the Capital Development Authority.
This project has divided into different phases and it is our first preference to complete all phases of this project within the time limit.
The Mayor of Islamabad and CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz inspected work on Constitution Avenue, Nazim-ud-Din Road, Agha Khan Road, Faisal Avenue, Markaz F-6, Kohsar Road as well as other major roads and avenues of the city.
Mayor Islamabad said that more 40.000 lights have been replaced with LED lights in Islamabad. Installation of modern LED lights is a beneficent project that LED lights gets the lowest electricity and also secure the expenditure from maintenance.
Chairman CDA said these lights are sufficient to save the energy. After very few months of completion of the project, it will clearly measure the saving energy in Pakistan electrical system.
