Former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif Will to Command Military Alliance of 39 Countries

Saudia Arabia asked Pakistan to provide a No Objection Certificate for engaging its former Army Chief as head of military alliance of 39 countries. Pakistan issued this NOC to Saudia Arabia on 6th March, 2017 and General Raheel Sharif is going to join as head of military alliance from May, 2017. A formal conference is also expected in which General Raheel Sharif will be announced as commander on this force,

Core objective of this military alliance is to counter ongoing threats to Muslim community like terrorism and Daish. Initially 34 countries were part of this alliance and now member count is increased to 39.
